Ambiance & Look
From the entrance, we immediately felt a romantic atmosphere as the lights emitted are a bit of dim but not on the food area as this was well-lit. There’s also a mellow music playing on the background and the table lovely center pieces certainly add to the romantic feel of the restaurant.
A totally different style welcomed us at the breakfast. The restaurant changed to a more casual yet sophisticated look. We’d seated near the window as we wanted some sunlight. Besides, we need the light to take photos of the food and shared it with our friends! 🙂
Food & Menu
We certainly enjoyed the Arabic themed buffet especially my husband who love other cuisines more! He likes everything in the menu (of course!) but most are the Chicken Biryani (he can have this everyday! :)), Beef Straganoff, Penne Bechamel pasta and surprisingly the grilled fish as he was not a fish-eater! As he also have sweet tooth, he tried the cakes and some Arabic delights.
As for me, after warming up with the lentil soup, I found myself having a second round of the brown broccoli, sweet & sour mixed salad, chicken with pineapple and some sort of cream (really taste good!) With the mains, I personally liked the pasta too as it was different from the rest of the pasta I’ve had eaten in other restaurants! It’s creamy and sweet but the amount of sweetness was just right not to make you tired of it. I also like the seafood with hara sauce. There was barely no space in my stomach after I’ve tried some Arabic sweets and fruits :p
And to push all these food, I had an apple juice and my husband had soft drinks. The buffet comes with a selection of your favorite freshly made juice or soft drinks. Bottled water is also served while dining in.
A perfect way to start our day was a full breakfast! There’s a salad, bread, waffle, fruits, sweets and cereals section. A live egg omelette cooking station was also offered. Other options are Nasi goreng, french toast, turkey bacon, boiled eggs, hash browns, baked beans, sautéed mushrooms, oatmeal and more! I’m surprised with the wide options this restaurant offered 🙂 We certainly liked most of the options in the breakfast.

Staff & Service
As I’ve mentioned in my Weekend Staycation at Nour Arjaan by Rotana post, another thing that’s commendable about this hotel was the attentive staff and great service. The staff warmly greeted us in the restaurant and queried where we’d like to sit. Upon sitting, they also asked what we’d like to have, coffee/tea or juice. My husband had his hot chocolate while I opt for coffee. Here we’d met Mu’ad the restaurant in charge who gladly handed us a map of Fujairah with complete attractions after we’d asked about how far is the Fort and Museum! He was very helpful and cheery. Another thing I’d like and noticeable is how quick they removed your finished plates. Apart from having a full stomach because of the good food, we adored the great service of the restaurant staff 🙂
We had an amazing dinner at night and a happy breakfast. Delicious food, wide selection, helpful staff and great service. Definitely, one of the best restaurants we tried in the UAE 🙂
