Madinat Jumeirah, one of Dubai’s most rich and brightly colored markets with an admiring Arabian-inspired architecture spread across landscapes and gardens. It consists of an interesting shopping mall, two luxurious five-star hotels, and a few residential areas. Many might point out that Madinat Jumeirah is completely artificial, but I must admit that it is extremely beautiful and well done. Complete with artificial venetian canals & fake cobble stones, pretentious as it may seem at least the Souq Madinat is a nice area to take really good shots just like what we did one weekend afternoon. The area with the chilly weather during our visit is perfect for outside sitting and some desired sunshine treat 🙂
Daytrip to Souq Madinat Jumeirah
I guess I’m in love with this place because it’s so different for Dubai. The flavors and smells wafting through Madinat’s complex corridors are literally like a breath of fresh air – warm, rustic, unforgettable. We’ll surely visit the place after the sun has set, when the lights are on. We definitely want to see its mystic beauty under the camouflage of night.
