My sister celebrated her birthday in this hotel. Her birthday falls on Ramadan. It was a good thing since Ramadan days offer a lot of special “Iftar Buffet” (Iftar refers to the evening meal when Muslims end their fast at the time of sunset) rates. I searched on the popular UAE site of those who loved special deals cobone.com and I found the deal with Radisson Blu Downtown Dubai. For the rate of AED 340 instead of AED 560, 4 people can have an unlimited buffet from 7 PM to 11 PM! Cool! 🙂 but we spend like 1 hour only in the place since we feel bloated already 🙂

Lemon Pepper Restaurant

The hotel area is popular since it’s surrounded by striking landmarks like Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall. We booked the restaurant – Lemon Pepper 4 days before the date to confirm our seats. The menu at this restaurant draws on culinary influences both global and local. The sleek interior sets off the abundant and intriguing a la carte dinner menu. Abundant menu, since there are like 6 kinds of salad, you can also mix your own, peanuts corner wherein you can taste like 4 to 7 kinds of nuts, main dishes include fish, chicken, mutton, beef, no pork of course! 2 kinds of rice, plain and the famous “biryani” rice but this one is Arabic style, fruits, juices, fruit shakes and softdrinks, and our favorite corner, the desserts!!! Intriguing, for the reason of unfamiliar names on the menu! A rate of 10 over 10 for Radisson Blu interior, ambiance, food and service.

Happy birthday my dear sister!
