We went to Lamesa restaurant of Asiana hotel to celebrate my friend’s birthday.
Ambiance and Look
It was Thursday night when we visit so the place is bustling. It feels like we’re in the Philippines since 90% of the hungry diners were Filipinos. Most are celebrating their birthdays. How did we know? Screen displays of greetings are seen all over the restaurant.
Food & Menu
Given that Lamesa is an Asian buffet restaurant and we’re all Filipinos, the food selection was a sure win for our taste buds, especially the pork section of course. Crispy pata, Lechon kawali, Sisig – typical Filipino food that will probably bring a high blood pressure. Everything we’ve tried here are tasty. For the main course we’ve tried all the pork variety, seafood, steamed vegetable, beef, chicken lechon. Food selections includes a salad bar, Japanese/Chinese food –sushi, maki, duck, dumplings etc. with the live cook, desserts includes buko pandan, biko, macaroni salad, cakes, ice cream, and a lot of other sweets. The restaurant also offers alcoholic drinks for a higher price.
Each person cost AED 89 buffet with unlimited water only. Price is of June 2016.
There was a valet parking available, just inform the staff that you’re dining in Lamesa. The waiters made sure that we always have our water and take out used plates immediately.
We had a great time and have our tummy overjoyed with the pork choices! 🙂 Make sure to make a reservation before going especially on weekends.
