We spend 4 nights in Bliss Surfer hotel for our honeymoon trip in Bali. This was booked by our travel agent located in the Philippines. Madej, our tour guide for the next days did the check in.
A super chilled-out 4 star spot in busy Legian. Its only 5 minutes from Kuta, 10 minutes from Seminyak and a 5 minute walk from the beach. Shops, restaurants and bars are walking distance. But it’s situated outside the main Kuta fanfare. We’re ensured that we’ll not be disturbed by the loud disco music in the late night. However, there’s a school next door and the bell sometimes ring early in the morning but it’s short and disruptive. Just to make sure you won’t be bothered, book a room located on the higher floors.
We stayed in a deluxe king room located on the fifth floor. Everything was of surfers design, the interior and color vibe looks appealing. The room was fantastic – clean, modern, fresh and very comfortable. There’s a balcony with sofa bed with the quiet view, some sorts of trees and greens. The bathroom is small but that’s fine since it was clean with strong water pressure.
The breakfast spread is good enough for us with the usual sausages, toast, pastries and etc. Not so many options are available. But there’s a live egg cooking station which we loved.
We haven’t checked the spa but according to the reviews they got a great spa. The only facility we tried was the super cold water in their small pool. What we really loved about this hotel are the sun loungers colored with different shades of orange and green. The surfer concept design of this hotel was definitely impressive.
Staff and Service
The front desk staff was extremely nice and had the best service. Everything we asked was answered with speed and graciously. We like to commend the great housekeeping staff. We always returned in a tidy and neat room after a long day out in Bali.
