We went crazy over the views from this hotel as soon as we arrived. We were offered fresh house lemonade while checking in. They gave us useful information about Mykonos and tips about places to visit, beaches and restaurants. From the reception, restaurant and room there’s this homey feeling that will let you relax for real. The Mykonian architecture and interior design of color blue, white and some shades of gray is certainly admirable.
Ideally located by the sea, this luxury resort in Mykonos is 30-45 minutes from the town but it’s near to popular beaches like Kalafati and Kalo Livadi beach. For us, it was ideal since it’s far from the busy town. And we get to enjoy the spectacular views from the hotel to the town while riding in a quadbike.
We had a premium double room sea view and stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are simple and clean, decorated in white linens and furniture with all the necessary amenities. Our beds were very comfortable. And the air conditioning was easy to use.
We love the room privacy since it is separated from the other. The balcony and view from our room window was totally captivating!
Views from every direction are gorgeous as the hotel sits sort of staggered on a hill looking out to the sea.
With the breakfast that’s included in the room fees, they serve few selections but each choice is definitely of great taste. And to have a view of the Kalo Livadi beach bay and the endless blue of the Aegean sea, we have the best breakfasts everyday. I love the pasta and strawberry Greek yoghurt which we ordered during lunch time.
Staff and Service
They have the most friendly and accommodating staffs who are young and focused anticipating your needs before you do. And go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We got to learn about the best areas of Mykonos like the lighthouse from the chef himself. They also helped my husband execute the best morning anniversary surprise of my life in our room balcony.
We booked through a travel agency, so we don’t really know how much they paid for it. You may check their website for price details. But we strongly recommend you to book via booking.com as they offer a much cheaper price than going directly with the hotel’s website. We only discovered this later 🙁
All in all, Archipelagos hotel is worth the stay. It is in a great location, has amazing grounds, stunning views, excellent service and helpful staff – guaranteed a relaxing trip. You could easily spend the whole day at the hotel laid out by the pool on summer.
